About the role

Join the Magnet‑recognized nursing team at HSS as a Clinical Nurse I on a per‑diem, night‑shift basis. You will provide high‑quality, evidence‑based care to adult patients undergoing orthopedic and rheumatology procedures, supporting our mission of exceptional patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive pre‑ and post‑operative nursing care to adult patients with varying acuity levels.
• Provide critical‑care nursing interventions and maintain clinical competence in a fast‑paced environment.
• Assess, interpret, and act on age‑specific and population‑specific health data.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, coordinated patient care.
• Participate in performance‑improvement activities to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Maintain cultural and religious sensitivity when interacting with patients, families, and staff.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Ability to work night shifts on a per‑diem, part‑time schedule.
• Strong patient‑advocacy mindset and commitment to evidence‑based practice.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
