Clinical Instructor & Field Education Director

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Monticello seeks a Clinical Instructor of Practice who will also serve as the Field Education Director for the Bachelor of Social Work program. Reporting to the Director of Social Work, this faculty member will lead, administer, and continuously improve the field education component, ensuring compliance with CSWE standards and university policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for all aspects of the BSW Field Education Program.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate field education policies, procedures, manuals, learning agreements, and evaluation tools.
• Coordinate placement sites, supervise field instructors, and ensure quality field experiences for students.
• Maintain compliance with the 2022 CSWE Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards (EPAS) and relevant legal and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with faculty, community partners, and university administration to support student learning outcomes.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
• Experience supervising field education for social work students.
• Knowledge of CSWE accreditation standards and field education best practices.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
