Clinical Coordinator, Radiologic Technology

About the role

The Clinical Coordinator oversees the clinical education component of the Radiologic Technology program for the State of Georgia. This position develops, implements and coordinates clinical experiences, schedules, documentation and preceptor training to ensure student success and compliance with accreditation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain course outlines, clinical education plans and program objectives aligned with State Board policies and accreditation standards.
• Create course syllabi and lesson plans, delivering instruction with innovative teaching methods and instructional technologies.
• Evaluate and document student progress, performance and skill attainment in classroom and clinical settings, providing timely feedback.
• Coordinate, administer and supervise clinical education experiences, including assignments, scheduling, site visits and student evaluations.
• Serve as primary liaison between the program and clinical affiliates, maintaining communication with sites, preceptors and healthcare partners.
• Organize orientation and ongoing training for clinical preceptors, ensuring compliance with program and accreditation requirements.
• Maintain accurate clinical education records, attendance logs and competency documentation.
• Request and manage instructional supplies, tools and equipment, submitting budget requests as needed.

Required profile

• Familiarity with state standards, accreditation requirements and college‑approved curricula.
• Ability to develop and manage clinical education plans and documentation.
• Strong communication skills for liaison work with clinical sites and preceptors.
• Experience coordinating schedules, site visits and student evaluations.
