About the role

Eastern Washington University’s School of Nursing seeks a Clinical Assistant Faculty member to begin on August 16, 2026. This nine‑month, full‑time appointment involves teaching across classroom, clinical, laboratory, and simulated learning environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality instruction in nursing theory, clinical practice, labs, and simulation.
• Participate in departmental, college, university, and professional committee work.
• Engage in research activities, grant writing, and professional presentations.
• Mentor student projects and support community outreach initiatives.

Required profile

• Full‑time faculty status reporting to the School of Nursing Director.
• Ability to teach in diverse educational settings and contribute to service, research, and outreach.
• Compliance with the collective bargaining agreement governing academic personnel.
