Client Support Worker – Community Integration Home

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a full‑time Client Support Worker for its Community Integration Home in Thomasville. This in‑person position provides direct assistance to residents, helping them develop daily living, social, and vocational skills while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and monitor behavior, documenting observations and incidents.
• Provide training in personal, social, academic, and work‑related skills through one‑on‑one or group instruction.
• Support meal planning, preparation, and special‑diet needs, and encourage group participation during meals.
• Arrange and accompany residents to medical appointments and other activities using state‑owned vehicles.
• Maintain accurate records of resident progress, report changes to supervisors, and contribute to individual service plans.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and errands, to maintain a comfortable living environment.

Required profile

• Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays as part of a full‑time schedule.
• Strong observational skills and the capacity to provide corrective feedback on behavior and decision‑making.
• Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team during case reviews and service planning.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, compassionate care and serving as a role model for residents.
