Client Support Worker – Community Integration Home (Atlanta)

About the role

The State of Georgia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a full‑time Client Support Worker for its Community Integration Home in Atlanta. This night‑shift position provides direct assistance to residents with developmental disabilities, helping them achieve greater independence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
• Observe, monitor, and document resident behavior, incidents, and progress.
• Provide training in basic personal, social, academic, and work skills, both one‑on‑one and in groups.
• Arrange and accompany residents to medical appointments and community activities using state‑owned vehicles.
• Support the development and implementation of individual service/treatment plans.
• Participate in case reviews and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive state‑owned vehicles.
• Strong observational and record‑keeping skills.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, compassionate care.
