Client Portfolio Manager – Financial Operations Lead

About the role

As a Client Portfolio Manager (Controller) you will lead a small, high‑performing team that delivers financial‑operations solutions to a portfolio of small‑business clients. Your mission is to bring financial clarity and peace of mind so clients can focus on growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery for each client in your portfolio, coordinating with associates to ensure quality, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Lead, coach and develop associates, setting clear expectations, balancing workloads and fostering autonomy.
• Act as the primary escalation point for client issues, providing context, solutions and leadership updates.
• Document emerging best practices, turn lessons learned into repeatable processes and share them across the organization.
• Bridge strategy and execution by testing new team models, iterating based on feedback and informing broader adoption.
