Classified Systems Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Classified Systems Administrator to support, maintain, and secure our mission‑critical, high‑consequence classified IT infrastructure. You will act as the core technical lead for a mixed Linux and Microsoft Windows environment, focusing on air‑gapped systems used by the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive 1st, 2nd and 3rd tier IT support across complex classified environments.
• Maintain and secure mission‑critical classified infrastructure, ensuring compliance with strict security hardening protocols.
• Configure and manage bare‑metal hardware for both Linux and Windows platforms.
• Oversee air‑gapped systems and ensure they retain an Authority to Operate (ATO).

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator in classified or high‑security settings.
• Strong ownership mentality and proactive approach.
• Demonstrated background in multitier support and hardware configuration.
• Experience achieving and maintaining an Authority to Operate (ATO) for secure systems.
