Class A CDL Driver – Flatbed, Dump & Walking Floor

About the role

Denali is seeking an experienced Class A CDL driver to operate flatbed trucks, dump trailers, and walking‑floor trailers from its Advance, NC facility. You will transport bulk and palletized compost, soil, and mulch products to customers and haul raw materials from job sites, working in all weather conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Operate flatbed, dump‑truck and walking‑floor trailers safely and on schedule.
• Secure loads using industry‑approved techniques for each trailer type.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and minor maintenance.
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery documentation, and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Communicate with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding routes and delivery status.

Required profile

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with flatbed, dump‑trailer and walking‑floor endorsements.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable experience driving flatbed and dump‑trailer trucks.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in the past three years.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening.
• Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle safety regulations.
