Claims Processing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Claims Processing Specialist to review and process claims and related documentation. You will verify information, update records, identify missing details, and help ensure claims are processed accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process incoming claims and supporting documents to ensure timely handling.
• Verify information for accuracy and completeness before entry.
• Enter and update claim information in company systems.
• Identify missing or inconsistent information within submissions.
• Follow up with claimants or providers to obtain required documentation.
• Maintain accurate claim records and documentation throughout the process.
• Escalate issues that require additional review to appropriate teams.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve claim discrepancies.

Required profile

• Prior experience in claims processing, data entry, administrative, or customer service roles.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Proficient computer and typing skills for efficient data handling.
• Comfortable reviewing and working with various documents and data sets.
• Excellent organization and follow‑up abilities to manage claim workflows.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently without loss of quality.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace for remote duties.

Compensation

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $19 to $24, based on experience and qualifications.
