About the role
This summer internship with Tighe & Bond’s Land Use team in Rhinebeck, NY offers hands‑on experience in civil/site planning and design. You will work in a hybrid environment, supporting real projects from concept through construction oversight.
Key responsibilities
- Research, compile, and examine structure‑related data for site design projects.
- Assist with engineering calculations, proofreading, and preparation of reports and specifications.
- Perform light drafting tasks and support small design work using AutoCAD.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in a BS Civil Engineering program with at least two years of coursework completed.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, problem‑solving attitude, flexibility, and openness.
Required skills
- Proficiency with design software, preferably AutoCAD.
- Ability to perform basic engineering calculations and data analysis.

- Hourly compensation ranging from $19 to $26, based on education level.
