About the role

Marshall Dennehey, a nationally recognized civil defense firm, is seeking a Civil Defense Attorney to join its Erie office. This position offers a collaborative environment where mentorship and professional growth are prioritized.

Key responsibilities

• Assist on high‑exposure medical malpractice, nursing home malpractice, guardianship, tax assessment, and zoning matters.
• Support additional work in auto liability, premises liability, and civil rights defense.
• Engage directly with clients and contribute to team‑based litigation strategies.
• Develop case management skills under the guidance of experienced shareholders and associates.

Required profile

• 2–7 years of litigation experience.
• Interest in the practice areas listed above.
• Strong analytical thinking, legal writing, research, and communication abilities.
• Commitment to teamwork and continuous professional development.
