Church Relations Advisor – U.S.

About the role

The Church Relations Advisor for the United States cultivates and expands World Renew’s partnerships with churches nationwide. Reporting to the Director of Church & Community Engagement, this full‑time position blends relationship management with strategic outreach to advance the organization’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high‑capacity church partners, serving as the primary contact for pastors, mission committees, and ministry leaders.
• Develop and execute customized engagement plans that increase participation and long‑term investment in World Renew’s programs.
• Facilitate church visits, virtual meetings, presentations, and written communications to strengthen relationships.
• Identify and connect churches with ministry opportunities such as global presentations, field staff visits, discovery tours, disaster response services, educational resources, and special campaigns.
• Prospect and cultivate new church relationships beyond traditional networks to grow the partnership base.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in nonprofit partnership or faith‑based relationship management.
• Excellent communication skills with pastors, denominational leaders, and community stakeholders.
• Ability to understand church priorities and align them with World Renew’s initiatives.
• Commitment to the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
