Child Support Services Agent Supervisor

About the role

The Georgia Department of Human Services is seeking a Child Support Services Agent Supervisor to lead a team within the Division of Child Support Services. This position reports to the Manager, Child Support Services and is based in Lawrenceville, GA.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily casework functions and ensure accurate processing of child support orders.
• Interpret and apply state, federal, and agency laws, rules, and policies to complex cases.
• Coordinate child support activities with legal, judicial, and public organizations.
• Provide human‑resources direction and supervision to assigned staff.
• Perform administrative tasks to support efficient unit operations.
• Enforce, modify, and collect child support obligations while promoting parental accountability.

Required profile

• Experience supervising staff in a public‑service or legal environment.
• Strong knowledge of child support, family law, and related regulations.
• Ability to handle sensitive and complex cases with professionalism.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with external agencies.
