Child Support Services Agent 2

About the role

The Georgia Department of Human Services is seeking a Child Support Services Agent 2 to join its Division of Child Support Services in Rock Spring. The role focuses on establishing and enforcing child support obligations, coordinating with legal and public entities, and supporting families across the state.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and enforce child support obligations of responsible parents.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders via telephone, email, and direct contact to ensure obligations are met.
• Manage a caseload to monitor compliance and collect payments.
• Perform additional professional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science, business, or related field, or a high school diploma/GED with relevant experience.
• Two years of experience in government judicial systems, human services, legal case management, military service, or as a DCSS Agent 1.
• Ability to work under direct supervision and handle confidential information.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
