About the role

The Georgia Department of Human Services is seeking a Child Support Services Agent 2 to join its Division of Child Support Services in Cordele. The role focuses on establishing and enforcing child support obligations, coordinating with legal and public partners, and supporting families across the state.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and enforce child support obligations for responsible parents.
• Coordinate child support activities with legal, judicial and public organizations.
• Communicate with clients via telephone, email and in‑person to ensure obligations are met.
• Manage a caseload of support cases, tracking payments and compliance.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

• Ability to work under direct supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
