Child Support Services Agent 1

About the role

The Georgia Department of Human Services is seeking a Child Support Services Agent 1 to join its Division of Child Support Services in Warner Robins. The role supports the agency’s mission to strengthen families by establishing and enforcing child support obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Register child support applications, validate locations, and establish paternity.
• Establish and enforce child support orders for responsible parents.
• Coordinate child support activities with legal, judicial and public organizations.
• Communicate with clients via telephone, email and in‑person meetings to ensure compliance.
• Participate in outreach programs such as Fatherhood, Prison Re‑Entry and Parental Accountability Court.

Required profile

• Ability to work under direct supervision of a Child Support Services Supervisor.
• Strong organizational skills to manage applications and obligations.
• Effective communication with clients and partner agencies.
• Commitment to promoting self‑sufficiency and protecting vulnerable children.
