Chief Technology Advisor

About the role

PEAKE is seeking a senior technology advisor to lead the next phase of its connectivity portfolio. The role is a strategic, consultant‑based position reporting directly to the President and executive team, focused on turning complex hardware solutions into repeatable, revenue‑generating offerings for public safety and defense customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute COTS hardware testing methodology, develop test plans, pass/fail criteria and interoperability matrices for multi‑WAN and bonded connectivity configurations.
• Define and build kit Bill of Materials (BOM) for deployable connectivity solutions across in‑vehicle, portable, fixed‑site and command use cases.
• Create assembly and staging SOPs, establish quality‑control checkpoints and acceptance criteria for field‑technician execution.
• Lead first‑article builds, coordinate with engineering and operations to produce production‑ready reference units.
• Produce solution data sheets, deployment guides and proposal‑ready technical content for sales and business development teams.
• Develop internal training material and support knowledge transfer to technical staff.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in technology advisory or engineering leadership within public safety, defense or mission‑critical environments.
• Hands‑on background designing, testing and fielding COTS hardware and connectivity solutions.
• Ability to work directly with executive leadership and translate technical concepts into market‑ready offerings.
