Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Remote

About the role

Indinero is seeking a strategic and results‑driven Chief Operating Officer to lead day‑to‑day operations across its finance‑focused service platform. This full‑time remote position will partner with the executive team to translate growth objectives into operational excellence, ensuring seamless delivery of technology‑enabled financial services to clients nationwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve operational processes that support bookkeeping, accounting, tax, and CFO services.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, aligning service delivery, technology, and finance operations with the company’s strategic goals.
• Develop and monitor performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to drive efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Oversee resource planning, budgeting, P&L management, forecasting, and cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Manage risk, compliance, and continuous‑improvement programs to enhance internal workflows.
• Champion an inclusive culture, mentor leaders, and promote internal mobility and talent development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior operations leadership, preferably within technology‑enabled professional services or finance sectors.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities with a track record of aligning operations to long‑term business objectives.
• Solid finance and budgeting expertise, including P&L oversight, forecasting, and cost control.
• Demonstrated people‑management skills, including mentoring, performance management, and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities in a distributed, remote setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
