Cheerleading Coach (Temporary, Non-Student)

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Monticello is seeking a qualified individual to lead its NCAA Division II cheerleading program on a temporary, non‑student basis. This role focuses on developing a competitive team while supporting the academic and personal growth of student‑athletes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and manage all phases of the cheerleading program in compliance with NCAA, Great American Conference, and university regulations.
• Coach athletes, conduct recruiting activities, and coordinate travel for competitions and events.
• Oversee the program budget, handle fundraising initiatives, and manage equipment and resources.
• Supervise cheerleaders, monitor their academic progress, and provide mentorship.
• Collaborate with the Director of Athletics and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Competitive background in college cheering or coaching (preferred).
• Ability to adhere to NCAA, conference, and university policies.
• Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
