Changeover Crew - Shreveport Convention Center

About the role

ASM, which manages public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for Changeover Staff at the Shreveport Convention Center and Shreveport Municipal Auditorium. The Changeover team assists the Operations Supervisor with the setup and tear-down of many events. This is a part-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Move, arrange, set up and remove items needed for events
• Set up and tear down stages, tables, chairs, barricades, linens and equipment
• Assemble and disassemble animal penning
• Clean and maintain buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, window washing, and cleaning toilets, urinals, mirrors, walls, arena seats and trash cans
• Clean up during and after events

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, graveyard shifts, weekends and holidays
• Reliable transportation during irregular hours; all shifts must be completed as assigned
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift and move up to 100 pounds, and climb, stoop and crawl
• English communication in emergencies; work in indoor and outdoor settings, sometimes in high areas

Required skills

• Some experience using hand tools preferred
• Ability to complete all shifts as assigned
