About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to work the night shift. This full‑time position offers a $10,000 sign‑on bonus and the opportunity to provide critical respiratory care to patients in a leading academic medical center.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy services to in‑patients during night hours.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment such as ventilators and CPAP/BiPAP machines.
• Monitor patients’ respiratory status, assess oxygenation, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Document all interventions, assessments, and patient responses accurately in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide life‑support interventions.

Required profile

• Current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential.
• Valid state license to practice respiratory therapy in Arkansas.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on day one of employment.
• Willingness to work night shift hours.
