Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

About the role

Central Star Home Health is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to provide essential personal care and support to patients in their homes. You will work closely with the care team to ensure each client receives safe, respectful, and high‑quality assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, transferring, ambulation, and other personal care tasks.
• Perform household duties such as making beds, changing linens, laundry, and light housekeeping.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and assist with feeding as directed.
• Document services accurately and promptly according to company policy and the personal care plan.
• Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) when ordered by the RN supervisor.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Successful completion of a state‑approved Certified Nursing Assistant program.
• Minimum of one year of CNA experience.
• Commitment to attend at least 12 hours of continuing education annually.
