CDL‑A Linehaul Truck Driver – Home Daily

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a CDL‑A Linehaul Driver to operate van trailers up to 53' or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations. Drivers return home each night, enjoy PTO after 90 days, and benefit from a comprehensive package that includes access to employee resorts.

Key responsibilities

• Pull and deliver freight using 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers.
• Travel between R+L service centers and designated turn‑point locations.
• Maintain safe operation of equipment and comply with DOT regulations.
• Complete pre‑employment road test, DOT physical, and drug screening.
• Handle loading and unloading tasks as required.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year verifiable Class A driving experience in the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in the past 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA military transition specs).
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to operate equipment safely at all times.

Required skills

• CDL Class A certification.
• Double‑trailer operation.
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
• LTL freight handling experience (preferred).
