CDL‑A Linehaul Truck Driver – Home Daily

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a CDL‑A Linehaul Driver to pull van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations. Drivers return home daily and can earn up to $95,000 per year.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers on linehaul routes.
• Transport freight safely between service centers and turn‑point locations.
• Maintain accurate logs and comply with DOT regulations.
• Perform pre‑trip inspections and report any issues.
• Adhere to company safety policies and schedules.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military‑to‑civilian transition).
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to work home‑daily schedule.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
• Double‑trailer handling.
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
• Tanker endorsement (preferred).
• LTL freight handling experience (preferred).
