CDL‑A Linehaul Truck Driver – 3rd Shift

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a CDL‑A Linehaul Truck Driver for a 3rd‑shift, full‑time schedule (Monday‑Friday, 11:00 pm – 9:00 am). Drivers operate van trailers up to 53 feet or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations, returning home each night.

Key responsibilities

• Pull and deliver van or double trailers on linehaul routes between service centers.
• Maintain safe operation of equipment and comply with DOT regulations.
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and report any issues.
• Adhere to scheduled routes and delivery timelines.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤ 3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military transition qualification).
• Pass pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
