CDL‑A City Delivery Driver – $36.64/hr, Full‑Time

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking CDL‑A City Pickup & Delivery drivers for its Pacoima, CA service center. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $36.64, full‑time weekday shifts, and the opportunity to return home each day.

Key responsibilities

• Perform city deliveries and pickups of freight, returning to the terminal daily.
• Make multiple stops per day, operate scanning equipment, and interact directly with customers.
• Complete lift‑gate deliveries using an electric pallet jack when required.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least one year of verifiable Class A experience in the past three years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, no more than three moving violations in three years).
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military‑to‑civilian transition).
• Pass pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty and dependable attendance.

Required skills

• Operation of electric pallet jack.
• Use of handheld scanning equipment.
