CDL A Team Truck Driver – Home Weekly, Competitive Pay

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking full‑time CDL A Team Truck Drivers to transport trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations. Drivers enjoy a predictable schedule – five days on the road and two days at home each week – with the possibility of dedicated runs.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Class A trucks safely to move freight between designated locations.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, including pre‑employment physicals and drug screens.
• Complete road tests and adhere to company safety standards.
• Handle various equipment types, including doubles/triples, tankers, and haz‑mat loads when qualified.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past three years.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations and no more than three moving violations in the last three years.
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA‑approved military transition).
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug test, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.

Required skills

• Class A CDL.
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
• Doubles/Triples endorsement (preferred).
• Experience with LTL freight handling.
