Cashier - Toyota Amphitheatre

About the role

A Cashier is needed at the Toyota Amphitheatre to handle cash and credit card transactions and reporting accurately and on time. The role also includes setting up, maintaining and cleaning the workstation. The employer is Legends Global, an agency providing hospitality and event solutions for brands across professional sports, collegiate, attractions, entertainment, international and convention sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash and credit card transactions and report them accurately and on time.
• Prepare simple menu items, sell items, collect payment and make correct change.
• Enter all sales into the cash register so purchases are accurately recorded.
• Verify ID on customers ordering alcohol.
• Provide quick, efficient, accurate and friendly service to all guests.
• Suggestively sell and upsell items.
• Perform closing duties, including clean up, product storage and trash removal.
• Maintain a clean, neat and safe work area and keep the workplace compliant with service standards, inventory and cash control procedures.
• Work all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old.
• Fluent English.
• Ability to work in an open-air environment in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, up and down stairs or ramps.
• Ability to work all shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Meets state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage service.

Required skills

• Arithmetic with U.S. currency (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull for extended periods.

The pay is $16.90 per hour. Applicants must follow safety policies and complete company safety training.
