About the role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable Cashier to join our Miami store on a part‑time basis. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth checkout experience while upholding Sedano’s safety and service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers with a smile and provide courteous service.
- Accurately scan items, weigh produce, and operate the cash register.
- Accept all forms of payment, issue correct change, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
- Perform cash counts at the start and end of each shift.
- Conduct price checks and resolve discrepancies when needed.
- Bag purchases, assist with cart loading, and return discarded items to shelves.
- Keep the checkout area, conveyor belt, scanner, and scale clean and functional.
- Follow store policies, safety procedures, and uniform standards.
Required profile
- Positive attitude and strong customer‑service orientation.
- Ability to follow company policies and safety guidelines.
- Reliability in maintaining a tidy, organized checkout environment.
