About the role

Join Sedano’s Supermarkets as a part‑time Cashier in Miami, providing friendly and efficient service to shoppers. You will be the front‑line representative, ensuring smooth checkout experiences while maintaining store safety and organization.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and address their needs promptly.
• Accurately scan items, weigh produce, and process all forms of payment.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer, counting cash at the start and end of each shift.
• Perform price checks and resolve discrepancies when necessary.
• Bag purchases and assist customers with loading items into carts.
• Return discarded items to shelves and keep the sales floor tidy.
• Identify and report any hazardous situations to the store manager immediately.

Required profile

• Positive attitude and strong customer‑service orientation.
• Reliability in following store policies, dress code, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work flexible morning or afternoon shifts.

Required skills

• Operation of point‑of‑sale (POS) cash registers.
• Basic cash handling and transaction accuracy.
