Cashier – Part-Time (Afternoon Shift)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, reliable Cashier to join our Miami store on an afternoon part‑time schedule. You will be the first point of contact for shoppers, ensuring a smooth and pleasant checkout experience while upholding Sedano’s safety and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and provide excellent customer service.
• Accurately scan items or weigh produce and operate the POS cash register.
• Accept all forms of payment, give correct change, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
• Count cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Perform price checks and resolve discrepancies when needed.
• Bag purchases, assist with loading items into carts, and return discarded items to shelves.
• Keep the checkout area, conveyor belt, scanner, and scale clean and organized.
• Follow store policies, safety procedures, and uniform standards.
