Carpenter – CAP CMAR Aqueduct Hydrology Improvements Phase 1

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join the CAP CMAR Aqueduct Hydrology Improvements Phase 1 pre‑construction team in Wittmann, AZ. The role involves constructing, erecting and installing a variety of wood‑based structures for heavy‑civil projects, supporting the delivery of critical water‑infrastructure across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Measure distances and mark guidelines on work surfaces to prepare for material placement.
• Prepare, build and install wooden components such as bridges, drain structures, walls and related elements in line with prefabricated units.
• Assist with the installation of awnings and metal decking for concrete slabs when required.
• Operate a carpenter’s belt equipped with hand tools, power tools and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of verifiable carpentry experience, preferably on commercial, industrial or heavy‑civil projects.
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffolds or ladders and lift up to 50 lb.
• Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions and comply with all safety policies.
• Strong work ethic, desire to learn and good manual dexterity for prolonged standing, bending, kneeling or sitting.
• Pass a pre‑employment drug screening.

Required skills

• Proficiency with carpentry hand tools.
• Experience operating power tools.
• Knowledge of woodworking machines.
• Ability to use measuring and marking equipment.
