Cargo Operations Agent

About the role

The Cargo Operations Agent is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse and ramp activities for SQ Cargo, ensuring that all cargo movements are executed according to schedule and safety standards. This role requires close coordination with the Customer Service team and handling agents to maintain smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate all SQ Cargo warehouse and ramp operations during assigned shifts.
• Oversee cargo build‑up and breakdown processes.
• Coordinate with the Customer Service team to confirm cargo movements and report any discrepancies.
• Provide guidance to handling agents on SQ operational SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with company manuals, bulletins, and memos.
• Monitor cargo transfers to interline partners and trucks.
• Track station ULD stock and reposition excess ULDs back to SIN.
• Verify cargo invoices for payment at designated stations.
• Prepare turnover reports for the next shift.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by managers or supervisors.

Required profile

• Experience in air freight warehouse operations.
• Ability to manage operational issues under pressure.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends.
• Must hold SQ DG CBTA certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
