Caregiver - Night Shift (11pm-7am) with Retention Bonus

About the role

Monarch/Brandywine Senior Living is hiring a Caregiver for a full-time night shift (11pm-7am) in Kennett Square. The position reports to the Clinical Services Director and is a non-exempt, hourly role at $20-$22 per hour, with a $1,500 retention bonus split at 3 months, 6 months and one year.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents in all aspects of their daily life according to their care plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization and activities.
• Provide care such as bathing, dressing, toileting and feeding as outlined in each resident's care plan.
• Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity and confidentiality of all residents.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe and fed during shifts.
• Document services provided to residents during each shift and report any change of condition to the supervisor immediately.

Required profile

• Certified Nursing Assistant and/or DHS certification plus a high school diploma.
• Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population is preferred; dementia experience is preferred.
• Able to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch, and to lift or carry up to 50 lbs while using proper body mechanics.
