Cardiovascular Technologist – Cardiac Cath Lab

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to work in its Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. This night‑shift position supports physicians and the care team in delivering diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures for patients across Arkansas.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain cath‑lab equipment and supplies for each procedure.
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, monitoring patient status and imaging.
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic health record.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection‑control, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and equipment troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or equivalent credential.
• Experience working in a cardiac catheterization laboratory preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and handle a fast‑paced clinical environment.
• Legal authority to work in the United States.
