Canvassing Director – Paid Field Team Lead

About the role

The Canvassing Director will lead a paid canvassing program for All on the Field, overseeing a team of 20+ canvassers in a designated state. This fixed‑term position requires on‑site presence in Greensboro and involves meeting strict door‑count and data‑quality targets while managing day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of a paid canvass program with 20+ staff members.
• Recruit, train, and supervise canvassers and team leads.
• Develop and execute staffing plans, set schedules, and verify hours each day.
• Enforce data‑quality standards, conduct spot‑checks, and prevent fraud.
• Establish daily and weekly production goals, monitor performance, and adjust tactics as needed.
• Collaborate with the operations team on recruitment logistics and supply management.
• Report program metrics to AOTF leadership on a daily basis.

Required profile

• At least two cycles of field experience, preferably with management responsibilities.
• Proven ability to meet metric‑driven goals under tight deadlines.
• Experience supervising a field team; experience managing managers is a plus.
• Composed and decisive in high‑pressure, live‑program environments.
• Willingness to relocate to the assigned state and a valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle.
