Campus Operations Maintenance Technician

About the role

Saint Ignatius High School is seeking a dedicated Campus Operations Maintenance Technician to join its Facilities team. You will ensure that the school’s buildings, systems, and equipment operate safely and efficiently, providing a reliable environment for students and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair plumbing, electrical, mechanical, fire alarm, and carpentry issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC units, change filters, and clean coils.
• Repair drywall, paint surfaces, and maintain doors, hardware, and other building fixtures.
• Read and follow blueprints or equipment manuals to plan repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, manage supplies, and order materials as needed.
• Assist with exterior upkeep, including snow removal when required.
• Provide on‑call support for emergencies, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of building maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license meeting school insurance requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders, and work in various physical conditions.
• Customer‑service orientation and strong communication skills.
