Call Center Technician – Customer Support

About the role

The Call Center Technician will be the primary point of contact for prospective and current students at Southern Crescent Technical College. You will handle high‑volume inbound and outbound communications, providing accurate information and exceptional service to support enrollment and student success.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls, texts, and emails in a courteous, student‑focused manner.
• Provide accurate information on admissions, financial aid, registration, and academic programs.
• Enter and update student interactions in Banner or CRM systems.
• Assist callers with troubleshooting, navigation of college websites, and use of college services.
• De‑escalate dissatisfied callers and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Maintain call logs, documentation, and directory listings.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Experience with multi‑line phone systems.
• Knowledge of Banner and CRM platforms.
• Data entry proficiency.
