Call Center Representative – Onsite

About the role

The Call Center Representative provides front‑line telephone support for VIVO Pharmacy, handling inbound and outbound calls, emergency alerts, and routine clerical tasks in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the telephone console, answer incoming calls on the main number and route them to the appropriate extensions.
• Place authorized outbound calls and manage TTY (telephone for the deaf) communications promptly.
• Respond immediately to alarms, activate emergency procedures, and page authorized personnel as needed.
• Answer general caller questions, provide telephone and room numbers, and disseminate patient contact information.
• Maintain records, files, and cards related to charges, admissions, and other patient information.
• Use telecommunications tools and patient information systems to support daily operations.
• Perform additional related duties as required.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1‑3 years of relevant call‑center or customer‑service experience.
• Willingness to complete training to become a pharmacy technician and submit proof of NYS Pharmacy Technician Registration application within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work flexible 8‑hour shifts between 7 AM and 7 PM, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
