Calibration Technician I

About the role

The Calibration Technician I is responsible for performing scheduled in‑house calibrations and supporting validation activities across the facility. This position works in a cleanroom environment, handling a wide range of measurement instruments and ensuring data integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Perform facility‑wide calibration of pressure gauges, controllers, recorders, switches, temperature recorders, resistivity meters, timers, flow, speed and electrical devices.
• Calibrate gauge blocks, Go/No‑Go gauges, calipers and humidity probes.
• Enter calibration results and maintain the calibration database.
• Manage the calibration lab, including sending instruments to vendors and scheduling on‑site contractor calibrations.
• Assist with validation activities such as controlled storage temperature qualification and equipment validation for autoclaves, depyrogenation tunnels and visual inspection systems.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (required); Associate’s Degree in Science (preferred).
• Calibration or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Physical ability to wear cleanroom PPE, lift up to 50 lb, and sit, kneel, stand, crawl, climb, bend or squat as required.
