Buyer – Procurement (Buyer II)

About the role

Swire Coca-Cola is seeking a Buyer II to manage suppliers and procure a range of commodities that support U.S. operations. The role involves negotiating pricing, issuing RFPs/RFQs, and ensuring a reliable supply of operational supplies, travel contracts, and other purchased items.

Key responsibilities

• Use a 7‑step sourcing process to create and release RFPs/RFQs, tracking market factors and business priorities.
• Negotiate to achieve target costs based on market intelligence and pricing trends.
• Identify and implement technology or process improvements to keep the business competitive.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships, facilitating communication between internal and external stakeholders.
• Validate supplier pricing, maintain pricing history, and forecast the impact of price changes.
• Act as liaison across departments to resolve supply issues for assigned commodities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Experience negotiating pricing and managing supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical skills to forecast price impacts and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
