Buyer – Indirect Materials

About the role

Swire Coca-Cola is seeking a Buyer II to manage indirect material procurement for its U.S. operations. The role supports the supply chain by sourcing operational supplies, travel contracts, and other items that keep the business running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and release RFPs/RFQs using a 7‑step sourcing process, aligning with market trends and business priorities.
• Negotiate pricing to achieve target costs, leveraging market intelligence and price history.
• Identify and implement technology or process improvements to enhance competitiveness.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring fair treatment and effective communication.
• Validate supplier pricing, maintain accurate records, and forecast the impact of price changes.
• Act as liaison across departments to resolve supply issues for assigned commodities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage supplier performance.
• Strong analytical skills for pricing analysis and forecasting.
