Busser – Front of House Support

About the role

Dakar NOLA is seeking a dedicated Busser to join its front‑of‑house team in New Orleans. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, organized dining environment and supporting servers to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Clear, clean, and reset dining tables quickly according to restaurant standards.
• Assist servers with water, bread, food delivery, and guest requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, service stations, restrooms, and common areas.
• Refill water glasses and attend to guest comfort throughout service.
• Stock service stations with glassware, silverware, linens, and other supplies.
• Polish glassware, flatware, and service items as assigned.
• Support opening, closing, and side‑work duties.
• Collaborate with front‑ and back‑of‑house teams to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of restaurant experience, including banquet service.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for fine‑dining hospitality.
• Ability to work collaboratively and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a positive attitude in high‑stress situations.
• Willingness to learn and continuously improve performance.
