Business Systems Analyst – Security Engineering

About the role

Anthropic is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join its BizTech team and support the Security Engineering function. In this role you will translate complex business needs into technical specifications, ensuring that the engineering teams deliver scalable, reliable solutions that keep pace with rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end delivery of technical projects from concept through launch.
• Configure and customize business systems, including user permissions, workflows, and integrations.
• Manage technical vendor evaluation, contract negotiations, and performance assessments.
• Create and maintain system documentation such as process flows, user guides, and configuration specs.
• Lead knowledge‑management initiatives to capture and organize institutional knowledge.
• Own technical risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Analyze current processes to identify automation and optimization opportunities.
• Act as liaison between technical teams and business users, translating technical concepts into user‑friendly language.
• Conduct system testing, validation, and user‑acceptance testing for new implementations.
• Provide ongoing support and training to end‑users across the organization.
• Monitor system performance and usage metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role within a technology‑focused environment.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
