Business Process Manager - Capability

About the role

If you are passionate about manufacturing operations and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, this Business Process Manager role will identify, create, and monitor the strategic design, plan, and implementation of training needs in a highly technical organization. The position works independently within a high‑speed manufacturing setting to ensure the team is prepared for upcoming challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Create and review the strategic training plan for the site, targeting both team members and leadership to upskill existing and new employees.
• Populate and manage the site’s Skills Matrix, closing mechanical and technical skill gaps for mechanics, electricians, and maintenance staff.
• Own Learning and Development process indicators and track performance against them.
• Develop new training content, benchmark against other industries, improve existing materials, and schedule critical training.
• Lead onboarding for new hires, including New‑In‑Position plans, satisfaction surveys, and 30‑60‑90 day processes.
• Lead a team of technical trainers and Process Improvement Technicians, overseeing Plant Autonomous Teams training initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Management or a related discipline (preferred).
• At least two years of training experience in a technical environment, preferably within a manufacturing facility.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results through team engagement, with strong analytical, influence, and negotiation skills.
• Self‑starter who can prioritize, thrive in fast‑paced settings, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong leadership skills focused on achieving challenging performance indicators.
• Willingness to relocate to a production facility as needed.
