Business Management Instructor

About the role

The Business Management Instructor will join the State of Georgia’s educational team, delivering credit technical and occupational courses within the Business Technology and Management program at the Cordele and Americus campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop program and course outlines, goals, objectives, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
• Evaluate student progress toward learning outcomes and maintain required documentation.
• Manage program certification requirements, instructional supplies, equipment, and budget needs.
• Ensure safety and security standards are met in all instructional areas.
• Collaborate with students, faculty, staff, and community partners to support student success.
• Advise and mentor students, assist with recruitment, retention, and job placement activities.
• Participate in professional development, committee work, and other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Management, Human Resources, or related disciplines.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience in the field and knowledge of pedagogical practices, vocational/technical education, and academic standards.
• Ability to work cooperatively with students, faculty, staff, and the public.
