Business Finance Manager

About the role

The Business Finance Manager will lead profit and cash‑flow budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis for the Polyethylene business within LyondellBasell's Olefins and Polyolefins NA segment. Acting as a strategic finance partner, you will translate financial results and market drivers into actionable insights for senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, consolidate and analyze annual sales, production, variable and fixed‑cost budgets.
• Provide monthly financial analysis and ad‑hoc performance reports.
• Partner with Business Directors and Segment leadership to influence decisions on profitability, margin performance, cost management and working capital.
• Serve as the focal point for General Ledger and SAP accounting issues, ensuring accurate cost and revenue allocation.
• Guide Finance team members and build credibility across senior management and operations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting within a manufacturing or petrochemical environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to develop insights that drive business strategy.
• Proven ability to act as a trusted finance business partner to senior leaders.
