Business Development Manager – Remote (Law Firm)

About the role

This newly created position sits within a leading US law firm that is expanding its Business Development function. Working fully remotely, you will own the proposals and pursuits process, partnering closely with the Business Development Director to shape best‑practice approaches and win high‑value client opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end management of RFPs, pitches and client presentations.
• Develop compelling, client‑focused submissions that differentiate the firm.
• Collaborate with practice groups and senior partners to identify and prioritize business opportunities.
• Continuously improve BD processes and contribute to the firm’s overall win‑strategy.
• Maintain a high level of coordination across the Business Development team.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing proposals and pitches within a law firm.
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with hands‑on delivery skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication tailored to legal clients.
