Business Development Manager – North America

About the role

QIMA is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead its expansion across North America. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for building a robust client portfolio and driving revenue growth for our testing, inspection, and certification services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage new business opportunities through cold calling, networking events, and industry research.
• Develop and manage a diverse client portfolio covering consumer goods, electronics, apparel, furniture and more.
• Guide prospects through the sales cycle, from initial contact to contract signing and onboarding.
• Act as a trusted advisor to existing customers, promoting additional services and maximizing usage of QIMA’s digital tools.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout North America, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in product testing, inspection, or related sectors.
• Native‑level English communication skills.
• Proven ability to prospect, negotiate and close deals independently.
• Understanding of global trade dynamics and import/export processes.
• Self‑motivated with strong organizational and time‑management capabilities.
